Five fairytale Presents stars
A fun, warm, entertaining read with a likeable heroine, ruthless-at-times hero, and lovely English village setting
Great dialogue, above-the-surface stuff, love scenes, secondary characters, and plot. But doesn't quite fit the lovely gilded Presents frame where I'd have liked stronger focus on the beneath the surface stuff.
I bought this after reading the fab beginning on the M&B website
Four stars for heroic, proactive heroine, ruthless alpha hero, relationship intensity & depth, fab beginning & passion-fuelled, emotionally satisfying ending and epilogue
I really liked the heroine-on-hard-times-supporting-her-younger-sister beginning
Easy-to-read page turner
Tale as old as the animated Disney movie
strongly-characterised, conflict-intense Presents' world
